let's chase the summer and forget the world.

im watching the last episode of this hongkong show online, this last episode which i missed during modern chalet, and i've never cried so hard while watching any tv show before. just wanted to say that. okay.

just had modern chalet from thurs-fri. :D :D very very fun, one of the best ones i've ever been to:) THE SENIORS CAME BACK WOOOO :D VERY HAPPY. jiayi meisiew and i went to school to learn apollo fac dance 08 on thurs morning and were late for the shuttle bus, got "conned" by the driver and ended up stoning at aloha loyang for one hour for the next shuttle bus when we were supposed to go to aloha changi. lol and in the end thomas yuhan and audrey reached earlier than us when we supposedly reached earlier-.- once we reached there, thomas casey yuhan and audrey announced that they were going to explore OCH which is like super near our chalet it was so scary :( :( some of the guys kept going back there in the night toooo okay and obviously smart people like us didnt go near and yeah. had BBQ! :D yay gooood food hahah and by the end of it i was like bbq-ing everything while nobody else is interested in eating anymore cause we had so much food left hahaha. apparently i looked like a maid-.- HAHA with all the smoke and sweat and oil eeew unglam LOL. okay anyway, they played mahjong throughout the night till like 5am while i just watched and tried to learn hahah. were laming around talking about stupid stuff:) it was so funny hahahah. nicholas kelvin and ainan! the seniors who stayed over:) made the chalet super duper fun with them around. going to miss the seniors realllly alot:( okay at 5am we decided to walk over to changi village hahah there we had some drinks and some of them ate supper/breakfast. :) sharon jiayuan jiayee and some of the seniors decided to go and await the SUNRISE while the rest of us just couldnt take it and went back, slept for 5hours before checking out:) in the end, they say there wasnt even much sunrise hahaha so yeah we made the right choice to go back and sleep:)

the next day! went to tampiness mall macs, stoned, went food court for lunch cause i didnt want macs, then while the seniors and exco were having meeting, the rest of us went back to school! on 67! wow. which took a freaking one and a half hours from tampiness to bukit timah-.- luckily we were all so tired we slept more than half of the journey, but still the journey was super long. finally reached school! hahaha and when jiayi came back, thomas and jiayi showed nicholas apollo fac dance 08. :D :D i feel so happy watching them dance :) :) apollo's was followed by ares, artemis and athena. alllll were great, next year's competition gonna be tough! revised steps for apollo 08 fac dance. :D :D then left for parkway parade with munyee to meet s79! had class dinner (sort of) then to yuanguang's house, played this DRINKING GAME which yize suggested-.- its just plain water HAHA NOT ALCOHOL, and there were like 5 of us girls against yize the solo guy. AND WE DRANK SO MUCH WATER i think my mother's gonna love this game:) some of them stayed over while munyee's brother drove me home after that then on the way from marine parade to cck we just couldnt take it ahhhhhhhh we were cursing yize for his idea of the game-.- munyee came to my house for the toilet AHA and left. hahah eventful day altogether. :D

worked today! scott said he'll miss the 4 of us cause we wont be working much when school reopens. oh well. reminded me of how the 4 of us went for banquet training early november when holidays just started, how bright and hopeful and happening and happy life suddenly became cause of the holidays. and now it's 30th DEC and school's starting in like 3 days :( xianhuan and i were grumbling about it just now but well, there's nothing we can do is there.. at least i think 2007 was a really meaningful year for me. i learnt many things. and i had really happy times, with my friends, with s79, with MAD<3 i believed i mentioned it before, looking back on this whole year, many of the most wonderful and precious memories were given to me by MAD, by the dancers. :D syf, Inspire!, performances in school like open house, school events we all go for together like maf and scream(:, studying together in the reading room or at kap, fac outings together(though after athena's we just kept chilling out lol), genting competition, everything everything. those times when we just talked and talked and gossiped and laughed and had alot alot alot fun:) i love our music&dance society, and i realllly loovveee our batch. :D and of course our beloved seniors. :D mad<3

ARGH i hate missing what used to be. anyway i think the feeling of exasperation really sucks. im wasting my life away. i hate it when it comes to times when i dont know how to react and i will just run away from the problem cause it will make my life easier, at first. and i will always end up screaming at myself. freaking hell. and i feel like i've done this ten thousand times. inconfidence, lack of perseverance and intiative, saying the opposite of what i think, is ruining my life.

look back a year ago, i was more of someone who is optimistic, carefree, more appreciative hmm, someone with more courage to face whatever that came my way, someone who dared to make things right. more relaxed, and happening. haha.

i cant help but feel tired, but i'm really tired of feeling tired.

went out with jessamin in the afternoon, to town, hahah bought alot of food-.- then to novena velocity to visit aunty helen at her workplace-the donut factory :D she gave us free DONUTS hahahahah and ice blends and smoothies hahaha very nice :) happy birthday dear, even though our day wasnt really productive :( hope you were happy(: im so happy to go out with you after so long, even though we see each other in school, i think i haven gone out with you for more than a year already :)

left for city hall and there, met some of the dancers, off to esplanade to support MEILING. :D she was really very very very fabulous, her voice is so good and the songs the two of them played really touched my heart (: one of the songs i remembered is above, kinda teared abit while they were singing, maybe it's the lyrics. so proud of such a fantastic senior. :D and she said we were all so sweet(:

these days im feeling so irritated and so easily tired, i dontknow why, everything just seems to get onto my nerves more easily and I HATE pretending to be happy or sth just to save some stuff. and i hate being the one who's always trying. i know it may be because i did not try in the past, but i just hate the feeling of getting nothing back in return or people just fuyan-ing you. AIYA. i think coming online made me more angsty.... like if i just watch tv then go to sleep or sth i'll be quite happy but when i come online then when i talk to people and then by some WEIRD reason there will be this super IRRITATING feeling coming over me esp when people ignore me its so irritating and i will start getting pissed at everything, at myself, and i will scream at whoever's trying to talk to me, like my sister or brother, or if it's my mom then i will get scolded. i think i NEED PEOPLE TO TALK TO then i become more normal and more in touch with reality or something then i become happier AIYA i dontknow also i think i suck, okay stop emo-ing, reminds me of my sec2/3 times which were like wth times. this is such a stupid random post. SUCKS.

okay shall save this post from being so stupid. erm went sakae sushi buffet on tuesday with wanteng bunny zouzhao. :D haven talked/seen them for so long. we just sat at sakae at heeren from 3-6 talking about random stuff, about the past, about the present and the future. but the future not very far future, more like NEXT YEAR future. which always gives me the super dreaded/dreading/dread feeling. we watched Hitman after that HAHA its better than i expected though i only understood like half the movie even near the ending. the woman inside damn liberal okay. okay. wednesday went minds with huitian casey ezra zhuhao erm we stayed for two hours only, hahah would like to spend more time there i think that place makes time slow down a little, like everyone sit down and yay, play board games hahaha and its quite cosy and everything, and when you're playing, the rest of the world just seemed a little further away :) went school after that cause casey insisted on going back hahah some of the bboys were there so they were breaking and after that everyone just sat down and talked. yeah. talked. hahah. i said our conversations had no conclusion but they said what we're talking about aint supposed to have any conclusion hahahah so yeah. the evening ended with me dinnering with huitian at kap(:

today! pw group gathering with delphine missing meaning erm, yeah hahah so yuanguang junyu and i had suki sushi, it was like my second time having sushi buffet in two days-.- surprisingly to all of us i couldnt eat much and junyu keep double-ordering hahaha even the guys surrendered in the end. and trust me, i think i never heard them said they were FULL ever before today hahahaha. watched Warlords. :D couldnt really understand at the start but it was reallly goood :D :D there was this display of brotherhood in there and yes, i am not a guy but i kinda can understand. so go watch it haha. walked to paradiz cause they wanted to pool, i wanted to go inside centrepoint, ended up with us buying this $11.90 HAAGEN DAAZ icecream omg damn sinful but of course, with them around i didnt eat much hahah. then to paradiz but didnt end up pooling cause there were many people on the waiting list already, and i was glad cause i dont really POOL hahaha. then erm to this arcade beneath dhoby ghaut mrt station COOL I DIDNT KNOW THERE WAS A PLACE LIKE THAT THERE HAHA its like the first arcade i've seen that is so brightly lit. :D okay then to lot one for contact lens solution then home, hahah kinda summed up the day. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESSAMIN i'm going out with you tmr. :D

this is still a stupid random post, but i think at least it sounds happier so yeah. too wordy as usual, actually its just for my own reference and reflections and whatever. :)

GENTING photos (: some of our competition piece and some hahah which we took outside the grand ballroom after the performance.

genting altogether.. was (what can i say) memorable. it wasnt really that fantastic, there were quite alot of unhappiness among the dancers ourselves and its quite sad la, result of different viewpoints, opinions and also different dance backgrounds and experiences. and there were many ghostly encounters. some of our stories may sound unbelievable (they sound unbelievable to me myself) and its up to individuals to believe haha i can only say they are true. so around wed/thurs, a couple of us were like, cant wait to leave that place. omg i am so glad to be back in singapore. :) :)

oh and for details of ghostly encounters, ask audrey jiayi and huitian and as for the guys, casey yuhan wilson ezra. huitian and i told xianhuan yesterday and hahahaha she didnt quite believe. but all i can say is on the last night, it got quite bad, that 14 of us squeezed into one room :x

okay but of course, there were good times la. how many times do you get to spend days & nights with fellow dancers together hahaha just nuaing around and talking :) and and the amusement park was COOL hahahah I TOOK THE SPACESHOT *proud of myself. i contemplated like for ten thousand times before i went up and i haven even decided. but then i had no choice already. see below for photo. HAHA I SCREAMED LIKE MAD. okay. mad. this thing brings you up to like as high as 10 floors and then suddenly it drops you down and up it goes again and down again and up and down again and it ends but its so scary i was screaming already when it first started moving up. and up there it was so high, all around you is mist and you cant see anything, haha up in the clouds man. luckily jiayi was beside me hahah and she had to tell me to relax when she herself was scared already hahah thankyou dear :D :D anyway the rollercoaster corkscrew was also really fun and cool and exciting hahah. most of it took it twice and we had around 24 people and we filled up the whole roller coaster! it was a MAD roller coaster for a few seconds hahah :)

hahah i am quite lazy to give a day-by-day account, maybe one day when i feel like it i will:) meanwhile just make do with the photos yay:)

oh bytheway THE FOOD AT GENTING SUCKED it made jiayi sharon and i diarrhoea on tuesday which is like, the COMPETITION DAY. and gave jiayuan and meisiew stomachaches as well. and there is this noodle place called "Only Mee" which sucked too, the noodles break once you hold on to them and we barely ate anything, and when you ask for iced teh tarik they give you hot teh tarik and a cup of ice and yes you pour them together yourself-.- and yes the ice melts and it tastes weird. huitian and i shared this bowl of udon, wanton and coke and we both agree that the coke is the best thing there-.- AND THEY CHARGED US 10% SERVICE CHARGE when everything was like, self service. it wasnt really the money that pissed us off, it was the bad service and the horrible food rah.

OKAY but this place called OldTown White Coffee was really really really goooood :) it was like the best thing over there. haha the place generally, feels like what you will see in singapore hahaha, meaning its clean, the food is good and it just feels comfortable. its opposite the entrance of the outdoor amusement park yay and on 2 nights we braved the cold there and it's always worth it. :D the first night huitian and i went with casey and meisiew, attempting to search for the rest of the dancers. when we realised they were not there, we just gave up and had supper there instead. huitian and i were like in fbts and we just bathed so our hair was wet and outside was super super cold hahaha and we challenged our limits by ordering ice blendeds and sitting at the seat nearest the entrance, meaning we will feel the cold air outside. HAHA but it was cool :) (literally) the next night (last night) alot of us dancers once again braved the cold there again and there was this CUTE OldTown boy hahahah :D :D okaaay and and we were in school uniform cause it was right after the prize giving ceremony when we have to be in sch uniform. and becos of the skirts, our legs were exposed to the cold again and huitian and i once again, challenged our limits by not wearing the jackets and drinking ice blendeds and ice cream toast at the shop. :D

dance camp was a blast. :D

I LOVE GROUP TWOOOOOOOO im really so so glad to be a part of this group :) :) we're always getting so crazy and highhhh hahah audrey says we're the most zi-high group in the whole camp. :D

many thanks to our LEADER kuangyong for being so irritating and entertaining hahaha and for his random woahsiaosiaosiaos and for his seriousness shown at the right timesss and as much as i hate to admit, a good leader. :D and jiayi for her encouragements, help, jiayous and her damn good choreography. :D JIAYI YOU MUST GET THROUGH TO GENTING OKAY. and to casey my LAO BAAAAA who always encourages too and never blames and who is always there to listen. :) ezra, our imba music mixer for staying up to 3am to mix the song for our dance item and for our final 3-in-1 dance song :) audreeeeyyyyyyy for stoning with me when we both dont know what to say, practising steps with me and finally doing hiphop together! and of course, for being our group's faithful and loyal attendance taker. :D rachel hot babe, for revising steps with me over and over again and praying together that we dont forget any during the showcase :) nicole, for coming all the way to school to teach us your choreo even when you were sick and cant dance only because you know that we needed you :) hanzhi, for being there too and ahhhh who had to leave on the second day and cant dance with us :( yongxiang, who finally relented to allow meisiew to pinch his cheeks for the last highlight of our dance, and of course, meisiew who you qing/ai qing ke chuan with yongxiang to entertain the crowd. :D I LOVE ALL OF YOU!

our dance Burning Rubber Shaking Ducks won CHAMPS YAY thanks to our high song FUEGO and our main choreographers jiayi ezra kuangyong casey rachel nicole audrey yay and we got our many many colourful jellybeansss. :D and and and during this camp we learnt so many dance styles and are exposed to so much more of dance we ever knew. i think street jazz was coooool, and bryan is cooool hahahha. now i can say i know more dance styles than i did, and even though i may not be able to dance that style perfectly, at least we had the experience. :D and i dare say that i would not have enjoyed this camp as much as if i were not in my dear funky zi-high group and i believe that GROUP 2 <3 was a BONUS. :)
